How to choose Inkjet Cartridges?

Just as we choose our computer desktops and printers with care, we must also choose the most suitable accessory for the printer. This ensures long life for the printer. Essentially there are three kinds of printers in the market today. They are laser, thermal and inkjet printers. All these three printers require different kinds of cartridges to suit the individual style of printing. There is no use buying an inkjet cartridge for a laser printer or a toner cartridge for an inkjet printer. It will not work and therefore it is always wise to check the kind of printer and accordingly buy the suitable cartridge. The reason why some users prefer the inkjet cartridges is because it is definitely the cheaper option when compared to the toner cartridge.

Inkjet cartridges are in no way inferior however and promise very good quality prints. Most inkjet cartridges yield about 450 to 600 pages per 15 duty cycles. Some offer about 500 pages at five percent coverage. One needs to choose the kind that yields more printed pages. These cartridges are made with an original kind of ink which is not dye based. The end result is that the image or text comes with a high pixel resolution, the basis for judging good quality prints. These cartridges use the kind of ink which is very effective and sharp especially in printing graphs and diagrams. It also supports fax machines. It can therefore be used both for home needs and office needs.

Inkjet printers can use both colour and black inkjet cartridges. There are some very eye-catching colours found in the inkjet cartridges and one can choose the one that best suits our needs. Some inkjet printers have the capacity to hold 13ml of black ink with about 8 ml of the three other colours like cyan, magenta and yellow. The cartridge itself is small and light weight, a little over 450 grams. Installation is very simple and can be done without any technical assistance. Some brands have a special radio frequency alarm to warn us about the ink remaining in the cartridge and this enables us to plan our work accordingly.

Apart from the quantity it prints, it is very important that we buy a product that has a warranty. Most branded items promise a mandatory warranty period and it is best to check and compare this before buying the product.
