Radar Detectors for Privacy

If one is always uncomfortably conscious of someone tailing us or even the police monitoring the speed of the vehicle one is driving, there is a new and amazing device to alert us about it. After checking whether the region or area in which one is driving permits the use of radar, one may safely install this compact device in the vehicle one is driving. In certain regions the use of radar has been banned. It is therefore very important to check up the legislation of the region before buying it. Along with laser technology there is a safety camera and a facility to detect new locations.

The Laser Radar Detector has multiple laser sensor diodes and can auto scan within seconds. It can detect distinct laser and radar bands and a digital POP radar alert with VG2 immunity. The user can hear clear audio alerts and brilliant visual alerts can be seen on the LCD display if the device senses any radar or laser band. Some of them have different colours like red, blue, orange and green on the display.  In addition there is the strobe alert, safety alert, spectre alert and the Vg-2 alert. The brightness can be adjusted if one wishes for the relative anonymity of darkness within the car. It can be set to the night driving mode just as the audio can be turned to mute if one wishes to deactivate the audio mode.

A 360 degree laser detector is available both from the front and the rear. An instant on warning feature can caution us about possible surveillance. Some devices are specially designed to detect police radars. Generally the device requires about 12 volts power to work efficiently. Some important features include a wave guide antenna, low powered digital receiver and a high speed micro processor. The operating bandwidths are X, Ku, K and Ka.

The cordless radar detectors are even better simply because they work on wireless technology and one need not go to the trouble of finding cord connectivity. It can be simply mounted to the wall inside the car. There is a built in ear phone provided along with AA batteries. The low battery warning comes well in time to indicate that the batteries need to be charged. The Digital Signal processing ensures that the user is not flooded with false alarms. Some devices are smart enough to detect speed camera locations. An eight point directional reading is facilitated by the help of the GPS technology in some detectors. Radars are no longer confined to Bond movies!
