Types of Coffee machines

Coffee, one of the main beverages is also the favourites of many. Coffee making has been now made simple with the introduction of coffee machines. Coffee machines are available in different types in the market. The different types of coffee machines are bean to cup coffee machine, pump espresso coffee machine, lever coffee machine and pod coffee machine. The Bean to cup coffee machine uses fresh coffee beans that are stored in a hopper within the machine. This type of machine grinds about 6 to 15 grams of coffee and then passes the ground coffee to a brewing chamber. When the freshly brewed coffee is dispensed, the used coffee grounds are ejected in to the tray, which is in turn emptied. The pump espresso coffee machines work with the electric pump forcing hot water under pressure through the ground coffee. The pump of the machine that operates with a pressure between 9 and 18 bars is housed within the body of the machine. The modern pump espresso coffee machine accepts ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) pods and ground coffee. Lever coffee machine works when hot water is forced through the ground coffee manually. In pod coffee machine, hot water is forced through the pod by an electric pump.

Whenever you think of buying a coffee making machine you must first of all decide upon certain factors like the type of coffee drink you would prefer, the features of the coffee machine and how often you would use the coffee machine. If you plan to use the coffee machine occasionally, then you can go for a cheaper model.

The coffee machine you are looking for greatly depends on the features you require. Some of the main features of espresso and cappuccino coffee machine are cup warmer, hot water dispenser, frothing wand, bypass dozer, strength controls, integrated bean grinder, pod compatibility, pre-moistening cycle and water filter.
